FOUND MY WORDS IN A SONG
FOUND MY WORDS IN A SONG is an original layered abstract work exploring identity, language, emotional recognition, and the feeling of discovering yourself reflected through music. Dense textures, repeated markings, and vibrant color fields create a visual atmosphere that feels both chaotic and intimate, like thoughts accumulating over time.
Developed over the course of three months, the piece moves through ideas of formlessness, transformation, and becoming. The lyrical references throughout the work draw from Yesterday by Noname from the album Telefone (2016), using music as both emotional memory and narrative structure.
The work embraces the belief that everything emerges from darkness, and that being undefined allows space for infinite possibility.
The title of this work is due to the representation of your voice being blocked. Being blocked in one area can allow you to find answers in another.
